Thanks to your amazing support, Mrs. Weesner is doing great with the "America's Favorite Teacher" contest. Not only did she make the cut-off for the top 20 teachers in her group of 74, she has consistently been #1 in her group! We want to keep the momentum going and keep her at the top!

Moscow School District patrons,
The regularly scheduled December school board meeting that was scheduled for tonight December 17 will be canceled and postponed to another date due to lack of electricity and Internet connectivity at the district office.
Yesterday our Physical Activity Club “cadets” working hard in a boot camp-themed workout — just like real police officers in training! Students rotated through six full-body stations: army crawl, tire ladder (agility rings), log roll, jumping jacks, squats, and push-ups. Officer Summers joined us to share about his job, what he enjoys most, and why he chose to become a police officer. To wrap things up, we played a classic game of Cops and Robbers — the perfect mix of fun and fitness! And of course, no PAC session is complete without chocolate milk to refuel. Thank you Officer Summers!
Thank you Jennifer Lynn for coming in to co-teach a computer science lesson in Mrs. Wang's first grade class! They wrote a math story first and then used Scratch Jr. to code the story. So fun!
Lena Whitmore Chinese Club participants learned about the history of fans and how to write their name in Chinese! So cool! Thank you Ms. Wang for giving our wolverines this amazing opportunity!

We had 147 campers attend Lena Whitmore's Family Literacy Night last week! Many thanks to our PAT for the delicious hot dog dinner! Go wolverines!
Lena Whitmore Art Club learned about the element of color through tie dye! Special shout out to Moscow Education Foundation for the grant to support this after school club!

WHO LET THE DOGS OUT??? Lena launched its first grade puppy reading program today! All of our first graders receive either a chocolate or black stuff lab to read to throughout the year. The kids read to their puppy with the help of a volunteer. For each book read, they earn a sticker in their reading log. More stickers equals more prizes for their puppy! Special shout out to the Rotary Club for donating the money for the puppies!
